Sounds like a parenting problem
Sounds like kids these days believe that they are the center of the universe and all others need to “stop for them”.
Funny because we used to tell the dumb kids to go play in traffic….
I just saw an e-scooter blow by me between stopped cars at a red and then not stop at the red light.
If you don’t play by the rules of traffic, traffic can and will crush you.
No these are the same as a motorcycle electric doesn’t change the fact it is motorized
Blame the parents. The only loss was that this accident wasn’t caught in 4K.
It was unavoidable?
When I was a child my parents taught me to look both ways before crossing the street and I’ve never been hit by a vehicle crossing the street so it most definitely was avoidable.
Exactly – crash would have been avoided if the kid on the scooter were trained to learn rules of the road before being turned loose on the road.
@NativeTexanCrawdaddy I’ve been saying for the longest time we need to take away the 20 mile an hour zone around schools and teach them to dodge traffic and we need to take all the safety labeling off of everything and let nature take it’s course.
Ever heard of Look both ways before crossing the street it applies to E scooters too
Gonna have to start suing the parents. It’s the only thing these idiots understand.
More safety measures? You think the patents or the children would listen?
If you could please try to teach those kids to read or not steal, it would make a start
they need to know about stop an yeild signs , wear helmet .
